Jamshid "Jimmy" Delshad ((ペルシア語:جمشید دلشاد)) is an Iranian-born American politician in the state of California. He became Mayor of Beverly Hills on March 21, 2007 and again on March 16, 2010.〔(Mayor Jimmy Delshad ) at City of Beverly Hills official website (accessed March 18, 2010).〕 He is the first Iranian-American to hold public office in Beverly Hills. ==Biography== Delshad left Shiraz, Iran in 1959 and came to the United States with his brothers.
